Nostalgia of the Mind

Finally decided to post on my previously-languishing blog today. I wasn’t sure what I was going to blog about, so I figured I would freestyle it. You know, just type whatever comes to mind; write about my life, or what I read five minutes ago. Uh… ahem. So here it is. Right here. After the jump. heh.

So this is it. My random, WTF musings. Justly tagged ‘musings.’ So… just finished watching The Godfather for the first time. Shut up. I mean it. I don’t need your sarcastic, crass comments about my lack of watching what many consider the best movie period. Ermmmmmmmm… Thought it was pretty good though. My dad, who never gets a movie the first time, is busy watching it a second time. He read the Harry Potter series twice through (not all at once, heh) and read the last one four or five times. Dedicated or just pretty fucking bored? You decide in the comments (heh see how I got you, the dedicated reader to start interacting with the website, thus giving me your email to spam [a sample here]. SCORE.)

‘Nother thing, decided to finally start running Apache Server on the abandoned HP running red hat linux in the basement. Maybe pop in a couple of 500Gb disks in, and host this waste of time. Not that I mean you shouldn’t read it. I mean really, this is my best writing right here (sarcasm for the uninitiated). Something which will convince my future employers to definitely not hire the fuck-up who posts shitty blog posts which ramble on in circles (recursively, maybe? [sorry, vocab word of the day. YES ]) and lead to nowhere.

But anywaaaaaaaay, back to my new possible server. Considering I have this last weekend before school starts again, (spring break) I may document the steps I take to start a web server. Or I may not. Depends in how much I like you, the reader. Make it worth my while. But, uhh… oh yeah, the server. Maybe host this very blog on it, if I read the TOS (terms of service) of Comcast (my ISP [Internet Service Provider {always assume the reader knows no acronyms}]) and find its ok.

What does this mean for you, the obviously not-very-beloved reader who I’m sure is stalking me right now (I assume one person will read this blog post; I consider myself popular). Usually, you can tell how much rambling there is by how many layers of parentheses, brackets, square brackets, etc. there are. Seeing as I hit three, ([{, I must be in an odd frame of mind. (compare this to my previous posts)

Wait... what? Oh yeah, heh. The IMPLICATIONS.

Probably means I'll move to WordPress the blogging software, do some http/php too. I may get the nostalgiaofthemind.com domain name, if I bother to get the money. Or not. Eh... I may just lounge about my my boxers in a bathrobe (believe me, not a pleasant sight. I'll post a photo [or not]) and drink diet root beer. (no beer, I’m not-quite 16, unfortunately) Maybe rent a movie on Netflix VOD, or just drowse. But uh, that’s it for the blog post, assuming my one loyal reader has read this lengthy, steaming pile to this bitter, unenjoyable end. Also, give me money.
