I think that I’m going to do it. The unthinkable. The unforgivable. The unexplainable. Somehow, through my many years of loyalty, I have grown tired of needless, pointless, and meaningless complications which been thrust upon me by an unforgiving and uncaring overlord. But what has wrought this change, this malicious, malignant, and malevolent act against the loyal cause that I have advocated for some many years? My malcontent, like a flower, has been growing, and now, is blossoming into this secretive subversion of all my previous thoughts against, turning into glowing grievance and galvanizing gripes; those so which propel my actions into the nether, the great beyond, a step off the fatal cliff, a dive off the edge of the knife. Some say that Windows is a piece of shit, spawned from spastic serfs, millions of lines of malformed code, miles of magnificent meanderings which make for the piece of shit that is Windows Vista. Some say that. And I’m starting to agree with them.

Right there. That’s it. I can hear the mobs massing, the telephones calls to the higher-ups, the cars pulling up to my house. “Ezekiel, get the pitchforks and torches. There’s a Windows hater out there somewhere, and we’ll gonna have to cut him up into little pieces.” That’s a direct excerpt from my imagination. But where would I go, if not for Windows? Ye goode olde Windows(e), without which there would be no hatred, swearing, and general malevolence towards mankind (BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH). Yet I flee not to a Mac, tired as I am of the exorbitant purchases of extremely unworthy tools for my whims.

Rather to Linux. Yes, as my fellow blogger Steven Allen would say, “BEST. OS. EVER. I LIKE KITTENS.” (quoted from his blog with a small amount of editorial direction). Why put up with sluggishness and sloppiness when the speed and superiority of Linux, on a purely technical basis, is so severely slanted towards its own surpassing system? (Rhetorical questions are a state of mind) Alas, I must dual-boot, for without Adobe CS3 I am lost (translation: my job depends on it), and Wine is no match for (hypothetically) genuine Windows Vista. But Ubuntu, for free, is the answer to my cries. With it, I will no longer suffer unsufferable delays for such modest demands as opening fiery Firefox or openish OpenOffice.

Such is my plan. Such it is written, and such it shall be. (Oh, side note: good forum signature [italics])

[...] So, um, the above is why I try not to blog after like, 11:00 PM, (or see my first posts: vodka and donkeys? I must have been high on my own dying shreds of consciousness [ooh, poetic, or see this.]) [...]
